We Meet in Upminster, Essex. Every Sunday at 9am
Welcome to the Havering Member Group, we are a friendly bunch of cyclists that meet in all weathers in Upminster on Sunday mornings for a ride out into the countryside. We offer rides to suit (we hope) everyone.
Essex is a beautiful county, we know this because our type of cycling takes us away from towns and into the countryside. Our rides through the villages can be like a step back in time as we admire the rolling landscape, quaint thatched cottages and the sights and sounds of authentic rural England. The pace of life in the countryside is matched only by our own modest speed.
Our lunchtime destinations are normally the pubs and cafés of Essex, but we occasionally venture into further afield into Kent and Hertfordshire. We ride at a leisurely pace. Our mileage? In the winter it’s about 30-40 miles, in the summer it ranges from 40-70 miles and sometimes beyond.
Please note: Under 16 year olds must be accompanied by a parent / guardian on all our rides.
